Purpose

The St. Anne’s Shrine Preservation Society (SASPS) is actively seeking the support of people, far and wide, who desire to help us preserve this beautiful center of Catholic worship for generations to come. You’ve read the stories in local and regional media, perhaps have come to visit and see the ongoing efforts to stabilize and restore this church, and want to help ensure its survival for generations to come.

Contributions

SASPS is a registered non-profit corporation in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and is a federal 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. All contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowable, and ALL donations received are earmarked 100% for the restoration of this Shrine and will be used only for that purpose. We have no employees; all workers, from the Board to the Gift Shop, are volunteers.

How to Help

We invite you to help donate to the preservation by the following means:

  • Visit the Shrine! We are open 7 days a week. We accept donations of CATHOLIC devotional articles for us to present to visitors for their donations. Additionally, you can obtain candles for placement in the downstairs shrine; a donation of $1.00 for a small candle (4 hour), or $5.00 donation for a large candle (5 day). We also accept free-will offerings in the gift shop or anonymously at the entrance to the pews.
  • Click here to download a form you can print, fill out, and send in with your donation. Make your check or money order payable to “St Anne’s Shrine Preservation Society” and mail to:
    St. Anne’s Shrine Preservation Society
    818 Middle Street
    Fall River, MA 01721-1777
  • Via PayPal, using the button below. You have a choice of a one-time donation or you can multiply the good work you’re contributing to by making a monthly pledge towards our goals.

Thank You!

On behalf of the volunteers and board of directors of the Society, we thank you for helping us preserve and return this Church to its place as the center of Catholic spirituality and beauty in the Diocese of Fall River.
