First Friday
Today is the First Friday of the month. The church sets apart this day dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, offering reparations for our sins. In the 17th century, Our Lord appeared to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque and in those apparitions he revealed several promises to those individuals who practices the First Friday Devotions. Let us take a few moments today and if possible attend daily mass and make an act of reparation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Faith
Our moral life has its source in faith in God who reveals his love to us. St. Paul speaks of the “obedience of faith” as our first obligation. He shows that “ignorance of God” is the principle and explanation of all moral deviations. Our duty toward God, is to believe in him and to bear witness to him.
