Revised Information for Eucharistic Procession

Posted on May 30, 2023May 30, 2023 by Bryan Boyle

Due to manpower shortages, the Fall River Police Department was unable to approve the procession permit for the Corpus Christi Procession on Sunday June 11. However, the Shrine will still hold our annual procession around the shrine grounds in a simpler fashion. This change will not affect the celebration of Forty Hours Devotions which will occur June 9-11 in the Shrine. Benediction will still take place at the conclusion of the procession.

We are inviting all parishioners whose parishes may not be holding a local procession to join with the Central Fall River community in this beautiful simple procession in honor and praise of our Lord.

Please contact the Shrine at 508-678-1510, email info@st-annes-shrine.org, or visit our website https://www.st-annes-shrine.org for more information.

Fr. Murphy 25th Anniversary Celebration

Posted on May 29, 2023May 29, 2023 by Bryan Boyle

In June of this year, Fr. Edward A. Murphy, chaplain of St. Anne Shrine, is celebrating the 25th anniversary of his ordination to the priesthood! This is always a special milestone for any vocation; that it is being celebrated for service as a priest is cause for great joy and appreciation for his labors in the vineyard of the Lord.

Fr. Murphy will offer Mass and lead his traditional Healing Service with Benediction and Exposition immediately after. All are welcome to join us!

Please join us in thanking God for his vocation, his service to the diocese of Fall River, and our beloved shrine on Sunday, June 18, 2023 at 2:00pm at St. Anne.
